Advocacy Efforts
NJEMG prides itself on being on of the most active and involved groups at the Statehouse in Trenton, actively working with legislators and regulatory officials to fight for changes to make it easier for you to stay in business, and fighting against the numerous bills to make it harder and more expensive.
During every two year legislative session, about 12,000 bills are introduced by our 120 state legislators, and about 3,000 of them would have a meaningful impact on your business. We fight behind the scenes and in the press to stop a wide variety of bad ideas from becoming law, and when we can't we work to lessen the burden or exempt our members from the worst of the impacts.

Personalized Compliance Assistance
Members have access to NJEMG staff for help at any time for any issue you may run into with the State of New Jersey. We help members to comply with our state's complicated laws and regulations. We can help if you have received a violation from any State department, including DEP, Weights & Measures, Dept. of Labor, Division of Consumer Affairs, MVC, and local enforcement officials.
Communications
Our Road Warrior newsletter is emailed to all members every week. Its the only publication dedicated just to our industries in New Jersey. Nowadays we are all overwhelmed with a flood of information, but its nearly impossible to determine what matters to your business. Our communications do it for you. Many members have said our newsletter is the most irreplaceable benefit to them. We also publish an annual Voter Guide dedicated to the industry, and have other more in-depth publications during the year, as well as occasional informational webinars and special Wildfire Alerts when something urgent happens.
